Finger Positioning-
Finger Positioning is very important in allowing the ease of playing Guitar Chords correctly. I have found that it is a lot easier to not have more than 1 finger on a Guitar String, if you are able to have the 1st segment of each finger vertical. You will want to try to have the 1st part of the finger (part that has the finger nail) being as close to straight up and down as possible.
Caring for the Guitar-
The Truss Rod is inside the Guitar Neck, it is used to keep the Guitar Neck straight. A Truss Rod can be bent over time by leaning the Guitar up against things. If the Truss Rod becomes bent, the amount of space between the Guitar Strings and the Fret Board becomes much Greater. Use a Guitar Stand whenever the Guitar is not in a case or in play!
Keep your Guitar protected while transporting with a Hard Shell Guitar Case. Guitar Bags usually don't offer but a little padding. If the Guitar is dropped, there is a strong possibility of Destroying your Guitar. A Hard Shell Case will help you to keep your Guitar well protected.
The Input Jack on an Electric Guitar can be damaged, if the cable is yanked out. To avoid this you can take the cable and slide it through the opening between the Guitar and the Strap.
---Pull down about 12 inches and then plug the cable into the Guitar.

Adding your next Guitar Chord-
It is OK to play this Guitar Chord without playing the bottom string. Playing this Chord correctly, you will need to bar the bottom 2 strings on the 1st Fret.
-Hard to do with quick Chord changes.
I've found that if you play the other strings correctly, you get a similar sound (not exact, but close) and it's quicker to transition while playing a song.
Being able to make a quick transition is more important than to get the exact sound.

Practicing, Precision & Focus
This is some info that should be the Goal of Every Newer Guitarist.
--Practicing - A 'Great Habit' of getting into is trying to Practice Everyday, especially for the first 'Six Months' as a Guitarist. I am a 'Realist'. Many people might say, I don't have time to Practice everyday. I've got a busy Schedule. ----My recommendation is, Practice 20 minutes everyday. You can even break it down to (2) 10 minute sections, if needed. If your Goal is to become a Decent Guitarist, your going to have to make the time. 20 mins a day - isn't that hard to make.
--Precision - This is Extremely Important. Take the time to Play these Chords properly. Down the Road when you playing Music with others, all your Hard Work & Practice Time will really Pay Off. By being Precise, you won't have to Re-Learn to do things correctly at a later time. Looking at the 'F Major' Chord above. This is the 1 time that I have found that it's OK to 'Not' play it Identical to the Original Chord. I get such a Faster Chord transiton, with leaving off the bottom string and the Sound Difference is really minimal between the two.
--Focus - When you are playing Music with other Musicians, Focus on Blending the Sound. However, you want to be able to 'Add To' what is already being Played. Focus on Timing. Being a couple seconds 'Off ' is really noticable when playing Music in front of a lot of people.
Let's get your Guitar all Tuned Up!

Lesson 4 - Practice Rhythm

--Youtube Video - Lesson 4 Practice Rhythm - no Vocal Instruction --
This is a Rhythm that I have created myself. Work on this until it becomes easy. After you get the hang of working with the 'F' Major, try coming up with your own Rhythm.
--The Best part of learning how to play the Guitar, is being able to 'Create' your own songs.
