Holding the Guitar Properly-
Valuable - Holding the Guitar properly, will make a HUGE difference in how quick you are able to transition between the Guitar Chords. This will be useful whether you play the Guitar sitting or standing.
- While Sitting & Playing- Place the Guitar on your lap allowing your lap to take the entire weight of the Guitar. The middle bend should rest on your lap- leaning towards your chest. Simply rest the Guitar Neck on your palm for 'Balance' - let your lap hold the weight.
- While Standing & Playing- use a Guitar Strap to do the work of carrying the weight of the Guitar. Same as in the sitting position, the Neck should rest on your hand for 'Balance'.
Pressing Firmly on the Strings-
Press Firmly on the Guitar Strings. You should be able to play each string individually and hear each string ring out, each string it should sound clear. Meaning, there shouldn't be any dead sounding strings or buzzing by having an unwanted finger on the String. Precision is very important when playing the Guitar. There is Extreme Importance of getting this correctly.
